CITY College Europe Campus consists of four academic departments ‐ the Business Administration & Economics Department, the Psychology Department, the Computer Science Department, and the English Studies Department ‐ offerings a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and two research centres, the South‐East European Research Centre and the Neuroscience Research Centre. There is a dynamic international environment across CITY College’s educational bases comprising students and highly qualified faculty members from more than 60 countries, who speak over 20 languages. This provides students with the opportunity to benefit from different perspectives and gain a greater understanding of the wider world in a truly unique English language learning environment.

CITY College has extensive experience in organizing professional training in Greece and various South-East and Eastern European countries including Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, and Ukraine. The College has the ability to mobilize and use a wide range of external instructors who bring the experience of the market into the classroom. Marketing and export promotion are a key ingredient of the Business and MBA courses offered by the College.
CITY College extensively uses technology to support, and supplement taught classes through a Learning Management System that enables blended learning approaches. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, CITY College moved all its classes online, managing to seamlessly offer high quality learning experience to its students both in the academic and short-term training programmes.


Professor Panayiotis Ketikidis is the Vice Principal for Research, Innovation & External Relations of CITY, and the Chairman of the Management Committee & Academic Director of the Doctoral Programme at the South East European Research Centre (SEERC). He has over 30 years of experience in management, education, research, and competitive research funding with various networks established as a result of this experience. Professor Ketikidis has been listed in the Marquis΄s Who’s Who, Publications Board in Science and Engineering Eleventh Edition 2011-2012. Professor Ketikidis’ research interests cross environmental sustainability, supply chain, health informatics, innovation and regional development, and science disciplines in an effort to understand today’s and future complex supply chain problems. He is Chief Editor of the International Journal of Innovation & Regional Development (IJIRD), Associate Editor of the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation (IJLEG), Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Operational Research (IJOR), European Editor of the International Journal of Enterprise Network Management (IJENM), and a member of organizing and scientific committees in various national / international conferences and workshops.


Mr. Anastasios Ntabizas is the Business Development Manager of SEERC. He holds a master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising and PR from the University of Sheffield and a BSc degree in Computing & Management Science from Loughborough University, UK.
He has worked in the past as a Coordinator / Team Leader, where he trained and supported a large number of individuals for the purposes of ‘New beginning in EPAL’ initiative, a large-scale project of the Ministry of Education, that foresees a series of ESF-funded interventions running in 398 EPAL Schools throughout the country, for the period of 2018-2021, with action plans linking VET with local communities and establishing cooperation with the greater educational and scientific society.
He coordinated, trained, and supported many local Community Based Organizations in partnership with UNHCR, in the preparation, submission and implementation of CBO Projects and their relative proposals.
He was also employed for many years in the SEPVE – Association of Information Technology Companies of Northern Greece, where he managed various large scale National and European funded projects.
He has organized a significant number of expert meetings, conferences and brokerage events in Greece and various EU countries. He has more than 15 years’ experience as a consultant and manager working for NGOs and public sector organisations.


Professor Petros Kefalas is the Vice President of Learning & Teaching in of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus. He holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and a PhD in Computer Science, both with the University of Essex. He conducted research in Parallel Logic Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Formal Methods, Multi-Agent Systems and Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
He has published over 100 papers in journals and conference proceedings. He co-authored two Greek textbooks, one in Artificial Intelligence and one in Logic Programming. He is currently involved in investigating the applicability of formal methods for modelling, verifying, and testing multi-agent systems, especially biological and biology inspired systems with emergent behaviour infused with emotional behaviour. Professor Kefalas’ research interests include formal methods in software engineering and Multi-Agent Systems, new Learning Technologies, and e-Learning.
He has worked as a reviewer of the Commission of the European Union on Research & Development Projects. He is a member of BCS, ACM, IEEE, ALP, Hellenic AI Society, and the Greek Computer Society (EPY) in which he served as vice chairman of the local annex. As a Director of Learning & Teaching, he is responsible for the Quality Assurance and Enhancement processes of the Campus. In 2017, he has been awarded the University of Sheffield Senate Award for Leadership in Learning & Teaching. He is a Fellow at UK Higher Education Academy.
